Nowadays, it is well known that China is the major textile producer of the world. The best? Depending on which products, but I must dare to say that yes. In case you want to start to import a type of product that in your country is difficult to make, here you have some information that probably will help you decide and will be able to let you know a bit more which are the principal producing textile countries.
China is the principal exporter of fabric and finished apparel. Afterwards, the European Union which is basically in fabric and curiously, the European Union is the principal importer of fabric and finished apparel. Behind are The United States and India and since 2010 Morocco, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Turkey and Korea have increased their textile market share such as in fabrics as in finished apparel.
Other countries that are also growing rapidly are: Peru, Brazil and Indonesia.

Peru is another of my favorites, the quality of the cotton and of the alpaca are exceptional. If your collection is knitted and you are in Latin America, do not doubt it, they will produce excellent productions for you. Forget it if your brand is low cost.
If you have to make a decision on choosing a producing country for a new product, here are some guidelines:
· Type of product: choose the country according to the product that you want to produce. For example for warm clothes, one of the best producers is China. To circulate, I would choose Peru and / or Bangladesh, and also India has very good cotton.
· Nearness: you can decide the timing of production depending on the rotation that your product needs. If you need to supply yourself often, it is better to search for a nearer country.
· Quantities: according to your production volume, there are more accessible countries than others. Turkey also does good productions of warm clothes and there can be manufacturers less demanding in minimums than China.
